Important Usage Notes
- For indoor use only. Do not operate outdoors or expose the unit to direct sunlight, rain, or other heat sources.
- Place the machine on a level, stable surface and leave it upright for at least 24 hours after unpacking before connecting power.
- Provide at least 19.7 inches of clearance around the machine, especially at the sides and back, to maintain ventilation.
- Connect only to filtered potable water. Do not use liquids other than water to make ice.
- Connect the drainage pipe before operation. The machine uses gravity drainage and is not designed to retain melted water inside the storage bin.
- The storage bin is not a freezer. Do not leave ice stored overnight; melted water may drain from the machine.
- Use a dedicated grounded three-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord or share the outlet with another appliance.
- Unplug the machine before cleaning, maintenance, or servicing.
- Clean the water tank, pump, ice scoop, and interior regularly. Follow the manual’s self-cleaning procedure and rinse thoroughly with fresh water afterward.
